I am booked into mid-March, and therefore, not accepting new clients at this time, unless we have already spoken, or you have been referred by your veterinary behaviorist. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Whether you are looking for polite behaviors at home, nice leash walking, house training for a new puppy, a speedy recall, or other basic training and manners, our trainer can do the job for you!
What is ‘Day Training’? Leave the training to the pros! This is the fastest, most effective path to having a well trained canine companion. We come to you and train your dog in your home, while you are at work, at play, or watching from the sofa. Our Certified Professional Dog Trainer installs the basic training, then meets with you during ‘Transfer Sessions’ to show you how to maintain your dog’s new, polite behaviors for a lifetime. Do owners still need to do some training? Yes, it’s important for you to work with your dog to learn how to communicate with the dog and to maintain the behaviors, but we do the heavy lifting and get all the behaviors on board for you. All packages also include follow up sessions with the trainer to ensure your continued success. Get professional results. Fast.
Walk, Play and Train
Working long hours? We will gladly incorporate a potty break and social time into any of our training sessions. No extra charge! Walk, Play and Train is available Monday – Friday.
Do you want to do the brunt of the training yourself, but just need help learning how to do it? Than private coaching is for you! The trainer meets with you on a weekly basis, and coaches you in the mechanics of dog training, then leaves you with clear, written instructions for how to practice in-between coaching sessions.
How to Schedule a Consultation
A consultation session is required for all new clients ($225). During the consultation, the trainer will assess your dog’s behavior, discuss your goals, get you set up with management to give you immediate relief from unwanted behaviors, and discuss training options with you. Once you register and pay for a consultation, the trainer will contact you within 1 business day to schedule the appointment.
4 week Basic Package: The basic 4 week program includes the consultation, 12 private training sessions and 4 transfer and coaching sessions with the owners. $1,520.
2 week add-on: Once you have completed the basic 4 week program, additional training can be purchased in 2 week increments. The add-on package includes 6 training sessions and 2 transfer sessions. $ 760
Please note. The amount of training that is required for any given dog, can vary widely, depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the dog’s behavior and learning rate, presence of fear or anxiety, the number of dogs in the household (and possibly other animals), and your goals for training. The trainer will work with you at the consultation to give her best estimate of time needed to reach your goals for your dog’s behavior. Just like people, dogs are individuals and learn at different rates. Day training is not be suitable for all dogs and all behavior problems.
What people are saying….
“Christine is a positive and confident trainer who connects well with dogs. We are first time dog owners and have a year old lab pup who had very little impulse control, and at 85 pounds, he definitely had the upper hand. We enrolled in the Basic Good Manners course and learned along with our dog. Each week the progress was encouraging. Christine provided us with outside resources and articles specific to our needs and desires. Most of all, she believed in us when I didn’t believe change was possible. We now have a happy and polite dog who is eager to train, and we look forward to an ongoing relationship with Christine in advanced obedience classes” – Sharrie, Fairfax VA
