In an unregulated industry, where there are no mandatory requirements for education or certification, Christine’s dedication to professionalism and excellence sets her apart! Christine is not only experienced, but well-educated in the science of animal learning and behavior. Her area of specialty is setting up new puppies and their families for success through early training and socialization programs, and behavior modification of adult dogs. She is certified to treat all manner of behavior from basic obedience training and socialization in young puppies to a range of behavior in adult dogs, including fear, aggression, compulsive disorders, leash reactivity, barking, biting, chewing and destructive behaviors. Does your dog bark at guests who come into the home? Or jump on people to greet them? Is he or she barking, biting, chewing, peeing in the house, pulling or aggressive on leash? Are you a busy family with a new puppy, looking for help with house training, chewing, nipping, basic manners and obedience, socialization and behavior management? Let us help!
Christine is the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets’ Canine Ambassador and Handler Team Trainer for Growley II (aka, “Tank”). She also volunteers with the Washington D.C. “As a veterinary behaviorist I have worked with numerous trainers to help my clients address their pets behavior problems. Christine is hands down one of the best. The level of education she has undergone combined with her training skills and natural ability to empathize make her one of my favorite trainers to work with and refer clients to. When my own family got a puppy, I asked Christine to help us train him and I was consistently amazed by her ability to engage with and include my two young kids in the training process. By the end of our sessions, everyone in my family was excited about training the puppy! Not only is her training pain free for the pet (an absolute MUST when it comes to science-based humane dog training) but its pain free for the people too! I highly recommend Christine and her training for your beloved four-legged family member.” ~ Dr. Amy L. Pike, DVM, DACVB
